Abstract

The article is devoted to the process of making a political decision to support the uprising in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1875 in the first months of the uprising. Author used a system-structural method to analyze the decision-making process to support the uprising, the. In the wake of anti-Turkish sentiment in Serbian society was formed new liberal government, leaded by Stevce Mikhailovich, Jovan Ristich and Jevrem Gruich. Prince Milan Obrenovich tried to use government as an attempt to balance the legislative and executive power. The attitude in the Serbian Parliament to the crisis was diverse: the liberals advocated an uprising, while the conservatives and socialists supported the adoption of measures that would not lead to a war between Serbia and the Ottoman Empire. The author concludes that the opposing parties formed situational alliances in case of support of the uprising as the Serbian political system was at the stage of its political development and there was no clear party division.
