Abstract

Eastern emigration in China was distinguished by a wide range of charitable organizations and philanthropists, and this did not depend on changes in the material situation of the bulk of refugee emigrants. In the most difficult and most favorable years in eastern emigration in China, the traditions of mercy and help did not weaken. This article attempts to cover most of these organizations. The very first organization that provided medical and other assistance to the Russian population abroad was the offices of the Red Cross Society in China. The activities of other Red Cross branches are also highlighted.
