Abstract

The article is devoted to mutual aid between Russian socialist émigrés during the Cold War. It is based on the materials of American archives, for example, Hoover Institution Archive (Stanford) and Baкhmeteff Archive Research (New York). The author uses also materials of International Institute of Social History (Amsterdam). He proves that situation in this sphere was very controversial. From one side, the spirit of old International continued to exist as personal friendly connections between some old Russian socialists. They tried to rebirth connections even with Georgian comrades. But, from the other side, political conflicts, phenomenon of Soviet patriotism among émigrés led to the break of some connections.
