Abstract
The article follows how the news about Russia appeared in the main newspaper of the Grand-duche de Francfort (Journal de Francfort, from 1811 — Gazette du Grand-duche de Francfort) and what they were dedicated to. The Grand-duche de Francfort was a satellite of the French Empire, and thus the image of Russia in its newspaper was the same as in the central press of Paris: in 1810 it was positive, but from 1811 articles about Russia became more neutral.
