Abstract
The article analyzes the translation from Greek to Russian of the translator of the Ambassadorial Prikaz Anastas Solunski based on documents of the embassy of Symeon Dementiev and Petr Evdokimov in Constantinople. Particular attention is paid to the accuracy of the translation, the translator’s choice of lexical resources and his literacy.
