Abstract
The article examines educational narratives of Russian emigration. Author analyzes emigrants’ relation to the Russian imperial project in terms of historical turmoil they had experienced. Author considers various evaluations of Russian colonialism and defines the place of Russian Empire in the historical memory of Russian emigration.
