This problem was raised by professor Ennio Di Nolfo in his article within the framework of Cambridge History of Cold War. Application of the «longue duree» ideas and consideration of the «transformation» as a complex political-economic process, that originates from events long before the beginning of the Cold War can enrich historical science with new method of research of this period and region.
