The objects of the analysis are bishoprics of the Church of Antioch in Upper Mesopotamia, Upper Euphrates valley and southern Georgian territories (Samtsckhe, Akhaltzih) included into the jurisdiction of the Patriarchate of Antioch after the Ottoman conquest.
