Abstract

The article concentrates on the new dimensions of science diplomacy (SD) in Russia. The emphasis is on the dynamics of the three main constituents of SD concept. The dynamics is analyzed in the context of SD in Russia. The article considers the main strategic documents providing the regulatory framework for the development of the SD in Russia at present. The examples of good practice of SD in Russia are provided. Special attention is paid to the humanities aspects of SD. We introduce cognitive dimension of SD aimed at the study of cognitive processing of information mechanisms involved in the intercultural dialogue as the main instrument of SD.
