Abstract

This review is dedicated to the international conference “Women in Power, Politics, Science and Culture”, held on February 26 and March 3, 2021 at the Demidov Yaroslavl State University. A wide range of issues related to the positions, roles, and images of women in different regions and different eras were brought to the attention of the forum participants. Among them are anthropologists and psychologists, historians and economists, philosophers and philologists, sociologists, political scientists, legal scholars from Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo and Khabarovsk, Toulouse (France) and Siedlce (Poland). The program included ten plenary sessions and a round table “Women in Modern Politics”.
