Abstract
In the literature there is a point of view that the Jews in Hitler's Reich went to death “like sheep to the slaughter”. Our article aims to refute this myth. The very existence of the Jews in Germany during the years of the Nazi dictatorship of 1933—1945 de facto was a manifestation of resistance to the Hitler regime, whose goal was the destruction of the Jews as a people. This “existence against all odds” was not limited only to attempts at physical survival. Jews actively participated in the German anti-Hitler resistance, especially in the anti-fascist struggle of the communists and social democrats, which these political forces led both in Germany and in emigration. In the article, for the first time in Russian historiography, an attempt is made to examine the phenomenon of Jewish Resistance in Germany during the years of the Nazi dictatorship and to talk about Jews who used the method of individual political terror in the anti-Nazi struggle.
