Abstract

The article presents the peculiarity of national philosophical periodicals as the means of transmitting and developing philosophical thought, examines specific characteristics of the scholarly philosophical articles and their significance for the development of both philosophical studies and philosophy as a discipline, gives the short sketch of the history of formation of the Russian philosophical journals and presents the list of the most significant modern national philosophical periodicals. The author discuss also the role of philosophical articles in intellectual and social life of society today.
