Abstract
The article is devoted to the traditions of Russian philosophy of law, its grounds and features. The cultural-historical context is seen as a condition of the succession of ideas, meanings, trends. Emphasizes the value of creative discussions, a variety of understandings and concepts that shape the historical formation of the philosophy of law, by which today it is possible and necessary to speak about problems and social ties in the modern public space.
