Abstract

The article represents the historical and philosophical analysis of the phenomena of religious and religious Renaissance in Russia in the beginning of the 20th century. The general lines and foundations of religious and philosophical search of that period are shown. Those lines and foundations were largely motivated of the new “discovery” of Christianity by the Russian intelligentsia. Particular attention is paid to the research of philosophical and theological heritage of two bright representatives of that age — Pavel Florensky and Sergei Bulgakov.
