Abstract
The atricle discusses fundamental problem statements concerning the phenomenon of composite monarchy in the British Isles history. Two principal issues are the following: the first issue is about mechanism of preservation of ethnopolitical and ethnocultural diversity in England. The second is about mechanism of correlation between multiple ethnocultural authonomies and legal polymorphysm characteristic for the English kingdom. The author proposes to see a possible explanation of persistent ethnocultural diversity and legal polymorphism in a specific way of dynastic succession in the kingdom of England.
