Abstract
This investigation aims to study the furniture of the Catalan modernismo and Russian modernism. The search for new and national in furniture art in Catalonia and Russia had much in common, but there were also significant differences. This article presents a comparative analysis of the furniture of the national romantic version of art Nouveau that are necessary in order to identify the general characteristics of art Nouveau Catalonia and Russia, and to reveal their differences. We investigated the historical background, origins of styles, major themes, characters, décor, equipment, materials, design features of the furniture.

Esta investigación pretende estudiar los muebles del modernismo catalán y del modernismo ruso. La búsqueda de lo nuevo y nacional en el arte del mueble en Cataluña y Rusia tiene mucho en común, pero también hay diferencias significativas. Este artículo presenta un análisis comparativo de los muebles de estilo modernismo de la versión nacional romanticismo que es necesario para identificar las características generales del modernismo Cataluña y Rusia y revelar sus diferencias. Fue investigado los antecedentes históricos, los orígenes de los estilos, los temas principales, los personajes, la decoración, el equipamiento, los materiales, las características de diseño de los muebles.
