Abstract
The article discusses the difference between digital humanities and digital history, as this trend has developed in the “Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media” and wider in the American historiographic tradition. Today it is time to turn to disciplinary differences in the digital humanities, and the paper is an attempt to understand the distinctive features of digital history, arguing that historians differ in how they use Internet and which computer methods they prefer. However, signs of a new trend to the text analysis in history suggests that disciplinary differences in the digital humanities are not permanent and immutable.
