Abstract
The article concerns with the opportunities, challenges and horizons of digitalization in the realm of qualitative research which traditionally associated with skepticism regarding the computational tools. The author suggests that reflexive mastering of new technologies — contrary to the worst expectations — strengthens the position of qualitative analysis, rather than weakens it. The strategies “going digital staying qualitative” are considered here on the basis of the CAQDAS development, of the hypermeidia ethnography environment construction and of the epistemological experiments with qualitative data in the Obninsk digital project.
