Abstract

This Article considers the periodization of the codification of international law of the sea, as part of international law. The importance of the codification of law of the sea caused by the value of the World Ocean for the Humanity and world development in the twentieth century. This problem raised in close connection with the changes taking place in international relations in the twentieth century, especially in its second half. Especial attention paid to the activities of international organizations such as the League of Nations and the United Nations.
