Abstract

The article based on materials collected during expeditions to Alaska in 2009—2013. Expeditions were organized under scientific supervising of Dr. Alexander Petrov (Institute of World History, Russian Academy of Science). Unique material was collected. Expedition researches continued. In the article some results of researches are presented. Expeditions of 2009—2013 revealed that still Russian heritage on Alaska is presented by household, cultural, religious, language and other aspects of social life of the region. It has appeared very steadily to external influence. This phenomenon, is the subject of further studying, that helps to understand the features of Russian culture in the remote and isolated communities in the conditions of a separation from maternal culture. It is pivotal to continue to do research and explore the common features of the Russian American history and heritage in Alaska.
