Abstract
Public opinion in the UK has a negative attitude towards Russia in view of the Ukraine crisis but Britons are not willing to provide financial or, moreover, military aid in any form to the current government in Ukraine. In comparison with other EU countries or the USA the public opinion in the UK does not express strong anti-Russian or pro-Russian attitudes. The stance of the British respondents on the whole is more measured than the harsh rhetoric of the two D.Cameron’s governments towards Russia.
