Abstract

In this work the author give highlights of the Soviet and Great Britain economic relationship evolution during the New Economic Policy period. The primary focus is on pre-revolutionary Russia’s government debt repayment and position of British and Soviet politicians to external borrowings. Investigates the debate between the British and Soviet delegations during the work of the Anglo-Soviet conference of 1924, Discusses the steps the labor government for the settlement of the question of pre-revolutionary debt.
