Abstract
Ideas on the linearity of time from the past to the imperfect light-scrap the future (welfare state, a communist society) have lost their appeal. The future is not predetermined, it is open. Accordingly, the past, including the history of the state, the collective memory of people emerges in a different light: it emits a legacy that must be preserved and converted for inclusion in this (European and national Heritage Days). The future is also updated in this four-res ethics of responsibility for the environment and the prevention of risks. As a result, the double duty of the future and the present to the past, making it a unique reference point for our historical time.
