Abstract

This article is about the newspaper “Za Industrializatsiyu” content-analysis as an official organ of The People’s Commissariat of Heavy Industry (NKTP) and The People’s Commissariat of Ferrous Metallurgy (NKCHM) during Stalin’s industrialization. The main goal of this research is to illustrate some positions of soviet industrial politics in newspaper’s editorials for 1932, 1937 (the closing years of two five-year plans) and 1940 (the last month of peace in Soviet Union). The content-analysis is realized by MAXQDA program, which is world leading software for qualitative researchers: MAXQDA counts the semantic categories, their frequencies and correlations, makes graphical representation. The conclusion of this analysis is focus on the idea of changes in this organ’s content and shares some points of view about the ideological pressure of Communist Party over soviet readers under the Stalin’s rule in 1930’s.
