Abstract
Training text dedicated to the history of the Saratov region in the era of the large medieval state — the Golden Horde (XIII—XV centuries) and in the Volga region of postordynskih (XV—XVI centuries). In the article the Mongol conquests in the Lower Volga and combat the various peoples, the principles of the Mongolian authorities to the conquered territories, given characteristics of economic, political, and ethnic and religious life in the Golden Horde. The approach to these historical processes within the present territory of the Saratov region on the basis of written and archaeological sources: the city Ukek (Uvek) settlement and its surroundings Ulus, archaeological monuments and the most striking findings. History of the region is shown in different periods of the Golden Horde: the formation of the state and nation-building (second half of XIII — beginning of XIV c.); the heyday of the state (the first half of the XIV century.); period of civil strife and the invasion of Tamerlane (second half of XIV — early XV century.); gradual disintegration of the state (the first half of the XV century.). The article also describes the history of the Saratov Volga region during the existence of — fragments of the Golden Horde (mid XV — middle of the XVI century.): Large and Nogai Horde, Kazan, Astrakhan and Crimean Khanate.
