The History of the Saratov Volga Region

In the illustrated tutorial examines the history of religious diversity and modernity of the Saratov region. A significant portion of this section is devoted to Christian denominations. Particular attention is paid to the Russian Orthodox Church in the Saratov Volga region, the history of Orthodoxy in the Saratov land before 1917, features state policy in relation to the Russian Orthodox Church in the Volga region of Saratov in the Soviet era, the modern Orthodox Diocese of Saratov.
