Abstract
The article deals with Soviet-British trade contacts in late 1920. The author analyses the impact of «trade blockade» of the USSR imposed by the British conservative government of the various branches of British economy. As a new source the author users the correspondence of the Deputy Chairman of Gosplan G. Y. Sokolnikov with the British journalist M. Farbman.
