Abstract

The article deals with the comparative analyses of the Soviet and Russian historiographies’ theoretical approach to the US post-war political history studies. More balanced and objective view of the American political reality as well as the acknowledgment of the positive achievements of the democratic government and interparty competition is estimated as one of the main advantages of the contemporary Russian American Studies.
