Abstract

The article is devoted to the veneration of an icon of the Mother of God named «Suffering» (Srtastnaya) in the 1950—1980’s. The special veneration of this sculpture included the processions or «an icon visitation», ex voto, the icon’s decoration. Now most of these practices are lost.
