Abstract
The article deals with the problem of historical reconstruction as applied to some late medieval didactic writings. How reliable is the information, proposed by the authors of such historical sources, i.e. the mediaeval moralists, criticizing the modern morals? The article analyzes some theatises of the 15th century, emerged from the court society: the Enseignements paternel of Gilbert de Lannoy, the Lettres de Jean de Lannoy à son fils, the anonymous Enseignements moult beau, and the Courtier of Alan Chartier.
