Abstract
The authors analyse the current «biographical turn» in historiography and transdisciplinary prospects of biography studies, which, as the authors suggest, can be realised by the following strategies: a) implementation of interpretative methods into the practice of research, b) taking into account the complementarity of «existential» and «sociostructural» approaches, c) examination of non-scholarly (private) factors of everyday historiographical life, along with the scholarly ones, d) recognition of the important role of network cooperation and scholarly communication that facilitate the transfer of ideas and methods of research.
