Abstract
The author aspires to reconstruct a mechanism of access to republican aerarium in a basis of the extant legislative and narrative sources, notably to answer the questions of quaestor's relations (in case of the treasury keys using) with supreme magistrates, with subordinate to him officials and with city quaestorship colleagues. In the article it's concluded that the division of permissions and duties among supreme and inferior magistrates of Roman Republic puts obstacles in the way of the uncontrolled using of the state means.
