Abstract
The paper poses the problem of relations between Rus’s state around Kiev and Slavic tribe Radimichs, located on the Dnepr’s left riverside. The paper propounds the reconstruction of the process of conquest of Radimichs’s territory by Rus’. Radimichs was finally conquered in the beginning or the first half of XIth century. The process of conquest and assimilation of Slavic tribes on the Dnepr’s left riverside (Severians, Radimichs and Viatichs – “Romenskaya” archeological culture) treaded in XIth century. Severians and Radimichs were won by Kiev before thirties. Viatichs kept their autonomy to c. XIIth.
