Abstract
The author presents an analysis of the changes that occurred in the process of the so-called “revolution in historiography” at the turn of the ХХ-XXI centuries, and of the current status of historical discipline. The object of study is the consequences of the “postmodern inoculation” and of numerous “turns” that resulted in radical renovation of epistemology and methodology of historical knowledge and formation of new models of research. New interpretations of the problem of historical truth and objectivity are discussed.
