Abstract
Marxist fundamental term “bourgeois revolution” is still in large use between historians. To which extent is it proper and does it testify a certain validity of Marxist scheme? According to the author, this theory was an expression of realities of XIX century and of some actual trends in the social evolution which are connected to the opposition of man and nature, to the development of cultural “technologies” in productive and social spheres; to the existence of qualitative stages and leaps in the course of this process. As an abstraction Marxist theory is one of possible specific interpretations of history which describes the interconnection between the external, slowly changing conditions and more or less conscious actions of individual and collective subjects. The ideal tasks declared of these actions are, as a rule, fare from remote results. Thus, social revolutions can be considered as spontaneous solutions of crises objectively brewing in a society like deceases in living organisms, but revolutions have also subjective and purely cultural reason by way of clearing the path for new forms of life and new “social technologies”. In this respect and any time with reserves above mentioned terms can be applied to concrete historical events.
