Abstract

In Europe, there are numerous integration processes that take place both within the European Union and outside it. Thus, there is a tendency to form integration associations on a subregional basis, when countries are grouped and seek to combine their potential on the basis of geographical proximity. Sub-regional organizations operating on its borders are of interest to Russia. In particular, the Nordic Council-Nordic Council of Ministers, the Baltic Council, the Baltic Council of Ministers, the Visegrad group. It is useful to study their links in order to determine the degree of their interaction between them. The nature of their relations provides additional material for understanding the role of these organizations in the region and Europe, which is of practical importance in the implementation of Russian foreign policy in the Northern, Baltic and the Visegrad group directions.
