Abstract
The article explores the philosophical and historical doctrine of Nikolay Danilevsky and Konstantin Leontiev. The common features and peculiarities between their thoughts are revealed. The philosophical and historical doctrine of Nikolay Danilevsky and Konstantin Leontiev is considered in the context of Russian historiosophical and social thought. In this regard the issue of a split national identity in Russia of the 19th — 20th centuries is raised. Also is shown the ways of overcoming of this split state.
