Abstract
The period of revolution and Civil war, having, without an overstatement, an epochal value in the newest history of Crimea and Russia on the whole, is examined in a publication. Authors characterize the events of February revolution as prelude of fratricidal conflict which entailed enormous victims and economic losses. Considerable attention is spared control system period of February and October revolutions. Authors select ideological and managerial dominants, incident to every political mode of period of Civil war. Side by side with this, processes of scientific and cultural buildings on a peninsula, having an important value for Russia, and also spiritual-religious aspects are in-process analysed. Large attention is spared activity of the Tavrida University, Tavrida Scientific Archived Commission, Tavrida Scientific Association and other scientific and cultural organizations. In the conditions of tragic socio-political opposition, in Crimea unique experience of cultural creation, actual and in our time, was accumulated in this period.
