Abstract
The article is dedicated to the interwar period in Hungarian ethnic policy, due to new geopolitical circumstances, aimed at resolving the national question both within the country and outside, directed at the establishement of the so called “Hungarian world” on the territories of the neighboring countries with significant Hungarian population. In parallel, it examines the factors that led Hungary to participation in the Second World war on the side of Nazi Germany.
