Abstract
The article analyzes the policy of the Romanian Government on national minorities, in particular Jews and Roma. On the basis of the Moldovan and Romanian historiography, the article considers the problems of deportations and forced resettlement of ethnic groups during the Second World War. Particular attention is drawn to the policy regime of discrimination and persecution of Jews and Gypsies, the main focal point of which became concentration camps in Transnistria. The author acknowledges the existence in Romania, as well as in Germany and Hungary, of a Holocaust policy under Marshal I. Antonescu’s government.
