The article raises the question of the limits of the jurisdiction of different authorities in the medieval Pyrenean town. The author comes to the conclusion about dynamic process of forming the new political configuration in municipal government during the course of the 14th century. The author also underlines that this process was mainly possible due to specific characteristic of the medieval sense of justice. The set research objective is solved on a basis of historical sources related to the Muslim community of Lleida.
