Abstract
Liberation mission of the Red Army in Europe is the name for the Red Army and Navy fighting of the state border of the USSR in order to defeat and surrender of the German forces and their satellites, that is used by the national historiography tradition. In this paper we consider the question of the origins and meaning of liberation mission of the Red Army, it alternatively as well as their strategic offensive operations, which resulted in the liberation of Poland, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Northern Norway, Austria and the island of Bornholm (Denmark) as well as the output of the War of Finland, Hungary and Romania.
