The latest works of Timothy Mason Roberts, Paola Gemme, Andre Michel Fleche, Yonatan Eyal, Mark A. Lause are analyzed. These scholars explore Americans’ perceptions of the 1848—1849 uprisings in Europe, of movements for national self-determination in the Old World from the transatlantic, transnational perspective.
