Abstract
This paper contains a survey of the problems concerning typology and distribution of the Late Corinthian pottery in the Northern Black Sea region. The author believes that such a study requires the application of the complex analytical methods, combining stylistic studies of the pieces and statistical analysis of primary results. The present article is based on the study of more than two hundred ninety exhibits of the Hermitage collection; it provides the reader with initial understanding of the dynamics and the chronology of Late Corinthian pottery import to the Northern Black Sea. The author proposes the pattern for the further publications of the relevant material from other local ancient sites.
