This article sums the experience of exploration of sources narrating about these events and suggests the ways of decision of the most disputable questions like the point of the Znamenie’s celebration establishment, the reasons of transference of celebration from date of battle to 27th of November and the reasons of the choosing the concrete icon as the Palladium.
