Abstract
Political and social changes after October revolution had their own specific features in every region. As anywhere in the agrarian and industrial sectors of the USSR “Stalin’s women-peasants”, women-workers of new type (Homo sovetiques) appeared in the Mountain Badakhshan Autonomous region( GBAO) of Tajikistan in the 30-s of the XX. century. Mass media played the main role in the process of transition women from marginal domestic sphere to active public life.
