Abstract
In his article the author gives the historiographic review of the theme of the USSR preparation to the probable war with Germany in 1941. The author concentrates his attention on the estimation of the character of the German attack on June, 22nd 1941. The fascist attack can't be recognized as preventive at all. As for the preparation of the Soviet Union to the repulse of the aggression, the analysis of modern historiography shows the inconsistency of attempts to accuse the Soviet government preparation of preventive attack on German troops.
