Abstract
On the basis of acknowledgement of fact that «without model no cognition», the brief comparative analysis of different variants of modeling as a method cognition world is performed. The pairs «empirical and theoretical» modeling, «inductive and deductive» modeling, and also «numeric» modeling as concrete realization of deductive mathematic modeling are considered. It is noted that in world cognition the best effect give universally valid theory. It was concluded that the deductive numeric modeling, successfully used in subject areas of archaeological cognition, the instrumentation, first preference for synthesis of universally valid theories appears as.
